1. ALPACA CARPETS is committed to adhering to Turkish statutory regulations on industrial safety as well as to the corresponding requirements of the International Labour Organisation (ILO).
2. Each employee makes his or her contribution towards adherence to and further development of the standards. A principal duty of each employee is to take responsibility for their own safety, for that of the other employees as well as for the safety of third parties.
3. The members of the works council cooperate in matters of industrial safety by commenting on them during employee meetings.
4. Our managers pay particularly careful attention to ensuring that employees [in management] receive sufficient training in matters of industrial safety, know the relevant rules and conduct themselves accordingly. They themselves always lead by example in the effective implementation and enforcement of these requirements.
5. These requirements help prevent work accidents and occupational illnesses as well as creating a safe working environment. Their effect will be to make every individual employee assume responsibility and to achieve successful cooperation.

Weaving Workshops

We produce the highest quality of auto tuft carpets with our computer based production.This modern tecnology enables efficient and cost effective production of auto tuftedcarpets in a wide range of pile heights in both cut and loop pile from a range of fibres including wool , wool blends, silk, viscose and acrylic

Yarn Dyeing & Preparations

We produce any colour of yarn at the dyeing facility within our factory. We use special dyes with international standards for fatness to light and wash. During the dyeing process ail yarns are given mothproof, antibacterials and antistatic feature.

Washing

Hygiene, brightness, softness and stainproof are featuresbrought in with years of experience in the washing process. These features make our carpets prominent.

Shearing & Carving

Shearing is done prior and after the washing process.This provides a smooth, leveled suface for desired pile heignt. The hand carving process is a highly effective way to add texture and movement to the pile.

The Alpaca Carpets production: Wilton, Axminster , Machine Tufting and Hand Tufting.
Wilton "face to face" - currently the most popular method of producing carpets in the world. Also called double weaving technology. The essence of Wilton "face to face" is simultaneously making two fabrics on one loom, which in effect creates two carpets whose patterns are mirror images of one another. This flexible technology enables to combine different kinds of yarn in one carpet. Wilton gained its popularity by providing wide design possibilities, high production capacity and very good quality of product.
Axminster - the oldest mechanical technology of weaving rugs and carpets from the second half of the 19th century. The name comes from the city where the technology was used for the first time. Axminster technology is intended for woollen products. As opposed to Wilton, only one carpet is created on a loom. Axminster is characterised by using extremely durable raw material. This method enables production of comfortable and outstandingly wear-resistant carpets intended for places with a lot of traffic, such as restaurants, cinemas, theatres, hotel halls and rooms.
Hand tufting - technology used in Alpaca Carpets since 2008. The most labour-intensive method, combining machine and hand weaving. As opposed to machine production, it enables creation of unique designs. Hand tufting makes it possible to create a carpet in any, also irregular, shape. This method of production is extremely open as regards the amount and type of used yarn and the variety of nap structures. One of its qualities is creating large possibilities as regards colour and pattern.
Machine tufting - tuft carpet construction, pre-woven on a floor texture is formed by weaving yarn tuft. Many carpet manufacturers in the world today, tufting technology.
Tufting machine movement, similar to the movement simple sewing machine needle. Creating curls on the floor texture woven yarn needles, bobbins yarn supplies in advance.
